The Higher Education Institution can appeal the appointment of an expert, the evaluation procedure or the outcome of the expertise or the decision on accreditation in writing, indicating reasons. The appeal must be submitted to the Accreditation Committee. Recourse may also be had by way of the Accreditation Council and the Agenzia della Santa Sede (AVEPRO) as well as by ecclesiastical and state courts.
