All Catholic theological institutions which are registered as legal entities can apply for membership. In certain circumstances individuals can be admitted as well.

The representation, or in the case of individuals, the membership requires renewal after five years.

The first regular General Meeting of Members took place in Eichstätt on January 26th, 2009 during the annual meeting of the Association of Faculties of Catholic Theology (KThF). The General Meeting passed, inter alia, the “Mission Statement” and the “Guidelines for the Accreditation of Study Programmes” and admitted the Universities of Erfurt and Münster.

The next General Meeting will take place during the Annual meeting of the KThF at the end of January, 2010.
