General Meeting

Membership is open to individual persons who are members of the Catholic Church or legal entities, primarily theological universities and facilities, which apply for admission. There are no fees for membership in AKAST e.V.

The General Meeting has in particular these tasks:

  • Decisions on the guidelines for the implementation of the aims of the association, on the budget and the balance of the year and on changes in the statutes and the dissolution of the association;

  • Election of the executive board, of those members of the accreditation committee who are not members ex officio and of the advisory board;

  • Accepting the annual audit report, formally approving the actions of the Executive Board and accepting the report of the Executive Board and of the Administrator.

At the annual General Meeting all relevant stakeholder groups are represented.
